March is a BIG month for the macaron. March 20th is National Macaron Day! This macaron tradition started in NYC in 2010 by François Payard as a way to raise awareness (and money) to City Harvest.
Here at JOY we are gearing up for our favorite day, by collaborating with The Birthday Party Project! The Birthday Party Project is an amazing charity, founded in Dallas. Their mission is to bring JOY to homeless children through the magic of birthdays.
We are so passionate about this organization and excited to bring you March’s flavor of the month, Birthday Cake. 50% of the proceeds from this flavor will go to The Birthday Party Project. In addition, on National Macaron Day, we will donate 50% of our proceeds from the day to support partying. Mark your calendars!
